Lisa MacLachlan was born in Branford, CT. She was very active at a young age and discovered her passion for running. She went on to compete in the National Junior Olympics for Cross Country and even completed a half marathon where she raised money for the Best Buddies Organization. She graduated from Quinnipiac University where she earned her Bachelor’s in Health Science Studies with a minor in Psychology. She was a Division 1 competitive cross country and track runner during her undergraduate years. Her passion for health and fitness led her to become a certified personal trainer to inspire others to reach their health and fitness goals. Lisa went on to compete in fitness competitions in the Bikini Division across the United States. This experience not only challenged her physically, but also gave her insight into the mental perseverance that is required to reach her optimal potential. She has also worked in physical therapy offices specializing orthopedic care, sports rehabilitation, and lymphedema. She developed interpersonal relationships with her patients and enjoyed helping them on their road to recovery every step of the way. Seeing patients recover without the need for surgery sparked her passion for regenerative medicine and lead her to NuLife Institute!
