Maurah Ruiz is an accomplished woman in both pharmaceutical and medical devices sales. She graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Political Communication. She was part of the Dean’s List and received the Jack Martin Political Communication and Dan Farlow Political Science scholarships. Her history of excellence continued post college in Austin, Texas where she began her career with Allergan in Facial Aesthetics selling Botox, Kybella, and the Juvederm family of fillers. She facilitated provider trainings and new account onboarding. She was part of the Kybella, Volbella, and Vollure product launches, mentored other representatives, was a Juvederm Center of Excellence, and a member of a pilot program for Kybella.
Later, she accepted a national account role and made the transition to Allergan’s CoolSculpting division where she traveled the country assisting top accounts with clinical trainings and events. This was a fantastic role as she got to work with top CoolSculpting providers all across the nation and learned the ins and outs of what works in each geographic region. This gave her incredible insight into practices on a national scale.
Following another promotion with Allergan, she moved to West Palm Beach, Florida to take on a territory role with CoolSculpting where she worked directly with plastic surgeons, dermatologists, and medical spas. Here she helped practices launch their CoolSculpting businesses and exceed revenues with their current CoolSculpting business. She created marketing plans, organized patient events, facilitated clinical trainings, and added additional systems into the practice. In this role she received the prestigious Rock Star Rookie award from CoolSculpting University as well as Quota Club. She also won a trip to New York City for being number one in the country and got to meet CoolSculpting ambassador and Real Housewives of New York City TV Star- Sonja Morgan. She emerged from this role well versed on the nuances that are necessary to make a product launch successful and the inner workings of physician practices. After her tenure with Allergan, it was instinctual to progress in her career and fuel her passion in the medical field by seeking her next position.
Trusted by countless physicians in South Florida, it was only natural for Maurah to accept her next role as Physician Network Director with NuLife Institute Age Management Group just a couple hours south in Miami, Florida. She is excited about this up and coming field and believes age management strategies are the next big thing in medicine. She sees immense value in adding these services into practice offerings in order to stay on the cutting edge of innovation.
